Re -TSMC’s designs at Intel’s chip factories again, once again, a new turning point. Reuters reports that TSMC has stood up with the idea of Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom Joint plan to overcome the fibrous fibrous struggle of Intel.
Immediately, we should indicate that only a few weeks ago the story was that Intel’s Fabs would be added to one Jointly planned between Intel and TSMC but the latter is run by the latter. Then a few days later, the rumor was excluded by some industry observers, while others supported it and added broad work to the mixture.
The long story is short, in reality what is happening, if anything, someone has guessed. But Intel is certainly in trouble, with a loss of $ 18.8 billion in 2024 and digging the CEO, which was considered to be its savior. So, hardly it is surprising that there are rumors about its future.
Anyone, back to this fresh yarn. According to Reuters, TSMC is suggesting for NVIDIA, AMD and Broadcom that it will run FABS but they will be owned by a joint venture in which TSMC shares will not be limited to more than 50 than 50.
The details of this latter reflect the fact of the claim that the Trump administration will not support an agreement in which the majority of Intel’s ownership is overseas. Reuters also claim that it may eventually be the Trump administration, which is behind these conspiracies.
Reuters claims that “US President Donald Trump’s administration requested the world -leading agreement with TSMC, who helps to change the disturbed US industrial icon, sources said on condition of anonymity because negotiations are not public.”
Not surprisingly, Reuters says none of the alleged parties decided to comment on the story. But if the story is to be believed, the talks are quite developed. Reuters says “Intel board members have supported an agreement and have discussed with the TSMC, while according to two sources of some executives, it has been strongly opposed.”
This is finally a bit of an issue. However, it seems to be very likely if it is not all dependent on Intel’s 18A node. If we had to guess, we say that if Intel can fulfill its claims that 18A will be beaten at the end of this year and compete with the TSMC KN3 and the upcoming N2 nodes, the priority in the company will hang on its fibers.
On the other hand, if there is a further delay in 18A and he is not looking like a clear winner, the company may begin to expire time and money. Now, it may be understood to find the option of distributing the fibr at some level, even though it is still intended to be left alone.
Everyone was told, it seems, and it has been really many years since Pete Jelnagar ended his Intel 2.0 rescue plan. We are still waiting to know if he has worked. In the meantime, Intel’s destiny is balanced on the edge of the knife. At least it’s not boring!
