The title of the upcoming Super Mario Bruce film sequel has been accidentally leaked online by NBC University, and is the name of a famous 90s Nintendo Game.
Super Mario World’s title was included Showcase in front of NBCUNIVERSAL 2025 Blog directly when listing the projects mentioned in the presentation. However, it seems that it has been mistaken because the title is now absent from the article. Fortunately for us, Wario 64 screenshot this piece and posted it Twitter. Check the post below.

If the title is really Super Mario World, this is a direct callback from one of the best Mario Games of the same name. 2D Action Adventure Platform Game Super Mario Bruce 3 is a direct sequel, where the brothers brought peace to the world of mushrooms. In the Super Mario World, the pair goes on a holiday on dinosaurland with princess Todd Stool. But when they arrive, the princess was caught by Baasar, forcing Mario and Lugi to visit the dietar and the curious land with enemies to save her.
This may mean that the sequel will introduce the movie to the new location, Dinosurland, as the first film focuses on the kingdom of mushrooms and the fortress of Bausar. More importantly, the Super Mario World is the place where Fan Furrite character Yoshi was introduced for the first time, which means that we can finally see Green dinosaur appearing on our screen after tampering with the 2023 film’s post credit scene.
The first Super Mario Bruce Bruce Movie is an original story, followed by two Italian -born American plugs, and brothers, whose name is Mario and Logi, who have moved into a strange world and are involved in the fighting between the kingdom of mushrooms and the cope. The sound cast includes Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joey (Princess Patch), Charlie Day (Logie), and Jack Black (Bausar).
It is unclear who will return for his sequel, but if the Super Mario World Movie follows it like this game, we can expect Pratt, Day and Black to reproduce their role.
