Nintendo has announced that Switch 2 will have new features in the implementation of N64 Back Catalog’s N64 Back Catalog in Switch 2. Although all N64 games are workable in both switch 2 and switch, the switch 2 version will allow players to re -wind the gameplay and add CRT filters.
In a recent video, Nintendo showed the features of Reward and CRT coming up in N64 Games on Switch 2. The Rewind feature allows players to scroll through a series of frames to return to their gameplay to the first. In practice, it allows players to recreate the hard parts of the Mario Cart 64 course or to take a million in Mario Golf.
The CRT filter provides players the option of applying old school aesthetics in their N64 gameplay. In particular, filter sports adds fake scan lines to resemble them more closely to see how they appear in the 1990s. Of course, the bright, high resolution handheld screen of switch 2 is very common with Behmot television in the screen for which the N64 was originally designed, but is still cool to see the option available to those who want retro vibration.
Although these two settings are special for switch 2, the Nintendo Switch 2 and the switch are also adding customized control for N64 games in both the switches and the switch. The players will be able to fully regenerate their controllers according to their specific play style, and it seems that it works on every game.
The switch 2 launches next week, though already (at least in the United States) has already been difficult. In addition to these N64 updates, better versions of the new sports and the original switch games will be released.
