- Mario Cart WorldOpen world challenges will be presented in free room mode
- Players will be able to find ‘P’ switch in the world that will activate challenges
- Correct peaches can also be discovered in Medlens and other hidden properties
Nintendo has confirmed this Mario Cart WorldChallenges and components will be presented in free room mode.
During the Mario Cart World Nintendo Direct, we were treated with more than 15 minutes of the next switch 2 launch title, which offered a new look at new maps and courses, Grand Prix, Knockout Tour, New Tricks, and Free Room mode.
Earlier this month, Nintendo revealed free room mode during the Switch 2 Direct. This will allow players to drive freely around several maps of the game, but in today’s broadcast, it has been revealed that the open world will not be as empty as I initially thought.
Driving in the world, players can see challenges and missions. In the footage, it is said that players can find ‘hundreds’ ‘P’ switches that will activate challenges, in which you work to grind across the rails to collect blue coins on the ‘silic line course’.
It also seems that there will be time to run, as well as the scattered peach medals, hidden panels and more.
This surprises me if Nintendo will offer extra challenges after launch, maybe in the form of a downloadable content (DLC) or content patch.
Mario Cart World On June 5, 2025 will start the same day like Nintendo Switch 2, $ 449.99 / £ 395.99 or 9 499.99 / £ 429.99 Mario Cart World Package
