Following President Trump’s announcement of a national emergency to increase America’s “competitive edge”, veterans of the board game industry have taken import prices to the Internet for the rising concerns. In particular, when the talk is about China -affiliated people – where the majority of board game publishers do source manufacturing. The bottom line? Not good for any board game companies who want to try their hands in making one of the best board sports, especially those who currently rely on China for their manufacturing.

Recent changes in US import issues mean that imported goods from China Now 54 % of tariffs are encountered. Compared to the first 10 % extra for Chinese goods, which is at the beginning of Trump’s second term, it represents a massive increase in a short time. For the Partway, through a print run for board game publishers (especially small businesses and indi companies that are already working on a “razor thin” margin), it will hurt.
