It sits at 100 HP, which is like dragoner, and without any weakness, it can usually take a hit or two while living in an active place.
The good thing about Gabite is that its attack, slash, only two energy, one deals with water and 60 damage to fighting. This is a solid amount of damage, which can remove the most produced basic Pokémon. It also costs as much energy cost as the only garchump attack, which means that you will not need to worry about investing extra resources in Gabite for future attacks.

Garchat – Smoker of Space Time

Garbump needs to be loved in the Pokémon pocket. It not only has two energy attacks in the dragon claws, but it also comes with a very strong ability that allows you to rotate through your deck unless you just need a card. The careless shaving ability allows you to waste the card to pull the card, though you can use only one during each of your turns.
Although it can sometimes be a bit strange to get both fighting energy and water energy on the garchaump, it is not very bad because it only requires a energy to use the dragon claws. Since Garchat is a stage 2 Pokémon, you have some turns to create a chain to find these energies.
