The best iPhones to buy in 2024

Waiting is over – kind of type. Includes Apple’s iPhone 16 Series, including Hook Cheap 16e, and its highly hypected Apple Intelligence iOS 18.1 has arrived. But if you are expecting a new iPhone experience, okay, I have some bad news for you. IOS 18.1 have a lot of standard rentals at this location, including AI features, written tools and e -mail summary. And although Siri has a new coat of paint, it is basically the same old Siri.

Apple promises a lot, but Apple Intelligence Rollout is a slow burn that runs well by 2025. All this is to say that if you have no complaints about how the current phone is working, you should definitely not rush for Apple Intelligence and not just get a new one.

What i understood

The most expensive, soup -up iPhone is not the best for everyone. What I look for is a pleasant medium – features that will mostly satisfy people at the best price. Sometimes, this is a model of last year.

Battery performance may vary from an important margin among existing iPhone models, mostly up to the size of the phone. Everyone wants a phone that can last all day, and these recommendations reflect it.

One size is not worth all. Some people like a small phone, others want to buy the biggest screen money. The list includes iPhones for people from both camps.

This is actually the philosophy of buying our phone: Stay in what you have. If you are not a person type to be excited about a new camera button, photo processing options, or growing performance upgrades, then there is no reason to run away and buy iPhone 16.

But if you are asking whether this year is the year you change your iPhone 11 or 12 (or maybe even more old model, which is well -worked!), I think the answer is easy yes. This year, there are real benefits, especially in basic iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, without even considering AI. And if Apple Intelligence eventually turns out to be something special, well, you will be ready for it.

The best iPhone for most people

$799

Nice

  • Reliable camera with a style of versatile photography
  • Easy New Action Button
  • More RAM and current general chip set

Bad

  • Standard refresh rate screen
  • Camera control is a mixed bag

Screen: 6.1 inch, 2556 x 1179 OLED, 60hz refresh rate / Processor: A18 Camera: 48 megapixel F/1.6 is important with a sensor shift. 12 megapixel ultra wide; 12 megapixel selfie / Battery: Not ad / Charging: 27W Wired, 25W Wireless Magsaf, 15W Qi2, 7.5W Qi / Rating the resistance of the weather: IP68

This time Apple’s primary iPhone promoted an important hardware this time playing a game of catchup in the Pro Series. The iPhone 16 includes the action button for last year’s Pro Models – if there is an app in your life you want to access a button contact – and the new camera control. So if there is anything to go to the buttons, this is the phone Two better Compared to last year’s model.

The hood is also happening. The A18 chip set is in the same generation as the processor on pro models, which has not been for the past two years. It is well tied to the 16 series on the same refreshing schedule. And this year’s twenty models have extra RAM, which can be just a good thing.

The iPhone 16 this time also became a very interesting camera. The camera controls the camera offers a fast way to launch the app and adjust settings such as exposure compensation. But this time there is also a new set of photography -style filters, which, on the contrary, have the options to accommodate brightness and undertones, in contrast, to dial in the preferential offer of tons of your skin. You will get better light performance by stepping on other cool tricks like 16 Pro models, and 4K recording on 120 FPS. But even without all of them, this is the most customized camera offered by Apple.

Out of the camera performance, there are two major drawbacks to pick up the regular 16 of the Pro model: no zoom lens, and no promotion screen. Only Pro has a dedicated 5x lens, which is easy for creative structures. And the standard 60 hits screen on the iPhone 16 will probably bother you when you are addicted to a smooth 120 HHz display, though it is disturbing to the principle that Apple puts this feature on its pro phone when practically every other high -end phone is called.

$99999

Nice

  • New tone control in the camera lets you dial HDR processing back
  • Who doesn’t like the Physical Shutter button?
  • Your video director will spend hours taking 4k120 video portraits at festivals of friendly streets

Bad

  • The camera control button is a bit
  • Default photo processing is more aggressive than ever
  • The highest increase of the extra upgrade above iPhone 15 Pro

Screen: 6.3 inches, 2622 x 1206 OLED, 120hz refresh rate / Processor: A18 Pro Camera: The sensor shift is 48 megapixel F/1.8. 12 megapixel 5x telephoto with Ois; 48 megapixel ultra wide; 12 megapixel selfie / Battery: Not ad / Charging: 27W Wired, 25W Magsafe Wireless, 15W Qi2, 7.5W Qi / Rating the resistance of the weather: IP68

The iPhone 16 Pro gets a small but meaningful upgrade this time: a collision up to 5x zoom, which was allotted to Pro Max on 15 series. And while changes from 3X to 5x do not look so impressive on the paper, it has a long journey to make the small 16 Pro equal to 16 Pro Max. For once, getting the best phone you don’t need to get the biggest phone.

16 Pro is similar to 15 15 pro, but its larger screen is: 6.3 inches, more than 6.1 inches. There is also a new camera control, the board has a 48-megapixel ultra-wide upgraded, and naturally, a new chip set that naturally supports the apple intelligence.

There is nothing here that makes the 16 Pro an absolute mandatory upgrade. Nevertheless, many people want the latest tool with all the hours and whistles, and gives the opportunity to achieve all these features without buying the 16 Pro the largest phone.

Best battery life iPhone

IPhone 16 Plus Pink.IPhone 16 Plus Pink.

$899

Nice

  • Reliable camera with a style of versatile photography
  • Easy New Action Button
  • More RAM and current general chip set
  • Large screen for big screen fans

Bad

  • Standard refresh rate screen
  • Camera control is a mixed bag

Screen: 6.7 inch super retina OLED / Processor: A18 Camera: 48 megapixel F/1.6 is important with a sensor shift. 12 megapixel ultra wide; 12 megapixel selfie / Battery: Not ad / Charging: 27W Wired, 25W Wireless Magsaf, 15W Qi2, 7.5W Qi / Rating the resistance of the weather: IP68

The thing about a big phone is that it has a large battery. And although it’s easy to understand, it seems amazing how much you can perform more than the iPhone 16 Plus’ battery. It is well stretching until the next day of use, and even if you are subject to charge your phone every night, you will be surprised to find out how much you have left in the tank at the end of every day. This is a solid stress of battery anxiety.

Naturally, 16 Plus’ big Nice comes with another bonus: a big screen. The benefits here are also clear. But when I use the phone, standing in front of me is how light it feels for its size, especially if you are comparing it with 16 Pro Max. If you like a big display but more weight – does not need to speak metaphorically and physically – then there is a way to Plus.

The best cheap IS iPhone

A photo of Apple's iPhone 16E.A photo of Apple's iPhone 16E.

$599

Nice

  • Reliable performance
  • Good, if limited, camera system
  • This is the cheapest new iPhone you can buy

Bad

  • Not megasaf
  • 9 599 feels like a lot of $ 100
  • Ultra wide not

Screen: 6.1 inch Super Retna X DR / Processor: A18 Camera: 48MP fusion With 1x and 2x optical zoom, 12 megapixel selfie ).). Battery: Not ad / Charging: 20 watts wired, 7.5w qiNo megasaf).). Rating the resistance of the weather: IP68

This recommendation comes with heavy breath. Yes, 16e Apple is the cheapest new iPhone. Yes, this is a good phone. It has a capable camera, reliable performance, full water resistance, wireless charging, and will be helped with software updates for years to come. But when you consider what it is missing, the price tag of $ 599 begins to feel very high.

There is no megassaf here, which you can add through a megasaf case, but it is amazing that it should not be made in it when it has become primarily a standard of iPhone. There is no ultra -wide camera, no timely information about the housing of the dynamic island, no camera control (no huge loss, honestly), and there is no ultra -wide band for the exact object tracking. It supports Apple Intelligence, but it does not feel that it is very comfortable, which makes it a lot of work.

The 16E will likely receive more years software support than the previous generation models like the iPhone 14 or 15. And of course, Apple Intelligence can some day turn into a useful thing. If you want a minimum resistance route for blue bubbles and fee time on your finger, 16e is a good choice. But if you like megassaf, a more modern camera, and some other bells and whistles that are lost in the way of 16e, it’s not a bad idea to see any of the old iPhones.

What about iPhone 15?

Apple still sells IPhone 15 New, reducing the price by $ 699 with the introduction of 16 series. If you don’t care about Apple Intelligence, there is a strong argument to buy 15 instead of 16E. 15 Pro run Apple Intelligence, while there is no regular 15. Compared to 16E, the iPhone 15 includes megasaf, dynamic island, an ultra -wide band chip, and an ultra -wide camera for tracking the exact item.

There is no shortcut to properly testing the phone. I put my personal SIM card (physical or something else) in every phone that I review and live with it for at least a week. I arranged every phone from the beginning, loaded it with my apps, and go about my life-to-batat, using GPS navigation on my motorcycle while running the radio, taking pictures of my child’s speeding fire portraits-every thing I could throw on it. Starting with a new phone every week, it looks like a dream or like your personal hell, depending on how you are on the phone. For me, switching has become so common that it is mostly painful.
