I am still relatively new in 3D printing, and I have yet to print in resin. Most often because I have a resin printer, but also because FDM prints come up with all kinds of issues for things I want to print.
I mostly print small. I have recently purchased the official files of the STL for the Iron Empire of the Training Crusade. I’m going to print them on a 32 mm scale, so they will stand about three centimeters long. When printing in the resin, this is not a problem. But I have seen that with FDM prints, layer lines are often visible. When your layers are one mm or two -high, your 32 mm can be printed in small 16 parts. Will it look fine on a massive breakdown and can be corrected by post processing, but on a smallest small? It is clear and immoral.
There are all ways to counter the afternoon printing, filling and prizing layer lines.
For me, 3D printing was a resin game. However, when my daughter was born, I removed my resin printer. I didn’t want a toxic chemical around it in our small house, and since then it has been in his box. Although FDM printing is not without its dangers, it has very little smoke, and with appropriate ventilation, I was more comfortable than printing it at home with it. One of the problems was that I would have to confirm everything I thought I knew about 3D printing.
Eligo Centuri Carbon is the best 3D printer for early people
Fortunately, Eligo Centuri Carbon is the best choice for FDM Nob like me. Submitting is easy, the instructions are clear, and the LCD touch screen printer sets the air breeze. The recommended settings and pre -installed STL files meant that I could start printing immediately. So I did.
I did not see any tank or tinkering, I didn’t even see in the settings. I did not change Eligo’s slicing software. I dropped the bench file on the printer and pressed the go.
It is worth noting that you can physically transfer the files to your printer through USB, but can also do so via an online portal. This portal allows you to check your print, change the settings, temperatures and even stop the print through a built -in webcam. This is perfect for understanding these fears on a big job.
The bench was printed exactly. There are some minor layer lines, but I was mostly impressed that I had print something for the first time. It took me a few weeks to get at least a decent resin print, and he worked with the batting. After that, I joined the nutty attraction, started tinkering at the height of the layer and printing speed, and fixed the bench exactly.
I quickly headed towards the suitable small (apologies, bench), and the prints really came out. When tinkering was necessary, it was straightforward and effective. The learning curve for Santori carbon is more soft than any 3D printer I have ever used, which makes it a great place to enter the hobby.
Printing problems
My time with Santori carbon was not perfect. I came up against the nozzle jams, I managed to interfere with changing my festivals, and the time -laps video function didn’t work. This is the nature of 3D printing.
However, any problem I came up with was a simple fix. It may be that the YouTube is following the tutorial, it may be using the support of the intellect or the Eljio. In one example, I needed an alternative part, which delights Eliego. Now I understand that I am reviewing this product, so my help can be encouraged to go more than the average user, but my experiences were completely positive.
In fact, the only negative aspect of my experience with this printer is that webcam does not record the video as it is understood. It works to continue the print, not just save time laps. I am not more worried than that as a whole, but in this article it is good to embed the video of the printing process. Going forward, however, this is not the feature that I will remember.
Eligo has burst into 3D printing scene with a wide range of budget printers, but Centuri carbon can be great. This printer is full of features, easy to use, and is perfect for everyone who sinks his feet in hobby. Signally lower than the price of Nintendo Switch 2, you can print your (legally separate) Mario Cart world without any experience. If you have £ 300 to spend on a 3D printer, don’t find any more.
