Google I/O 2025 happened earlier this week, and when there was no new hardware to talk, the company stopped developers with new AI announcements, search features and amazing press subscriptions.
The first search is the new AI mode chat boot. AI mode handles more complex questions than a traditional search, between chatting with Gemini and barrels in the traditional Google search. For example, you can compare numerous cars for your next big holiday that you can consider buying or pursuing travel options.
How can the AI format look in a new piece of your clothing (you need to upload the image of yourself first), and Google can also track prices in your size and preferred color.
AI mode enhances Google’s AI review, powered by Gemini. You’ve probably seen their searching requests (and often in my experience matters are wrong). When the review is cured, it means that you never have to leave Google Search, which is great for Google but not for the places where Google got the answer. In fact, News/Media Alliance says AI mode is theft. “Google only takes content by force and uses it without return, definition of theft,” said Daniel Kofi, president and CEO Daniel Kofi.
The most interesting announcement for me was the latest upgrade to Google’s video generation and AI video tools.
It unveiled View 3, which is the first repetition of Google’s AI video generator that can make videos with sound a bit more realistic (less unorganized video). It includes a new filmmaking app called flu, based on an experimental video FX feature in which Google has been working for a few years.
With flow, you can edit and extend existing shots, add and select camera movements and approach control, and even add AI video content produced with VEO to projects.
But it still looks kind.

Best sales of Memorial Day from Amazon, Apple, Samsung and much more
So far: laptop, speaker, unconscious space.
In the past years, we have seen solid sale of Memorial Day on many of our favorite tablets, headphones, charging accessories, robot vacuums and more. It is at the top of all seasonal items that are usually discounted at this time, such as smart girls, pizza oven and outdoor tech. If you are tested but not fully sold, your reminder is that Amazon Prime Day is usually in July. Maybe you can wait.

Fujifilm x half a small $ 850 digital camera
With optional retro dating stamp.
The latest trend of military films is the camera, well, cute. The X -HAF is 18 megapixel digital compact camera, but it uses half of the 1 -inch sensor to shoot 3: 4 vertical images. This name comes from half -frame cameras that use a 35 mm film frame in half, which was known as the famous Olympus Panf in the 60s.
The X -half has the same 3: 4 vertical ratio as the military’s instalx mini -instant cameras are, so you can print using an institute mini printer. The army was going viral with the X100 VI, so even more unique (and small!) X can appeal to a similar group of half shooters. It is now on pre -order for 50 850 (black, charcoal silver and silver) with a shipping set starting June 12).
