Mother/Earth Bound definition and welcome to the birthday thread. Earth Bound was released in the United States in 1995 and immediately flopped. It may be because of marketing, which told everyone that the game was smelly. It may have been a giant threatening SNES box that included a strategy guide + a sulfur scratch and a sniff card (of which I have a copy and a strange smell that thanks to the old memories). Perhaps the reason was that JRPGS had not yet been caught in the states. And it may be because of the “kitchen-nice” considered (beautiful) graphics. Whatever the reason, immediately after the release, someone can find dozens of copies of the Earth Bound in the clearance box across the country. And it’s very sad.
However, what is not regrettable is the fact that the game was still very popular in Japan. The series creator, Shigisto Ati, wrote three compelling, emotional and ridiculous stories and made three beautiful games with your team with your team (which will later become Pokemon fame creatures Inc.) and Nintendo Tokyo R&D products. The Mother Series has increased in praise/dignity/influence over the years just over the years.
