- A new PS portal update will be released today with new features that aims to improve user experience
- Players will be able to occupy gameplay during cloud streaming and set up their games
- When a streaming server is filled, a new row function plus a new line is added
Nowadays, a ton of new features brought to improve the user’s experience using Cloud Game Streaming Beta arrives a new update of a new feature.
As a new one is in detail PlayStation Blog Post, the first new feature players can expect that the catalog screen has a set -up function, which allows users to set sports recently by adding PS Plus (default), name and release date.
Perhaps the most interesting new feature of this update is the ability to capture gameplay during cloud streaming.
Once pressing the creation button, the creation menu will be displayed. Pressure and holding will make a screenshot, and twice pressing the video clip will start or eliminate recording.
Like the PlayStation 5, caught images and videos will be automatically uploaded to the cloud server and then access to them through the PlayStation app. It has been noted that “captures will be stored for 14 days after their formation”.
Another improvement allows players to queue when a streaming server is full. An estimate time on the screen will be shown, and when a place opens, the game session will start automatically.
The gameplay will now pause in terms of the situation, including when the player opens the PS Portal Quick Menu, when he presses the power button to enter the rest mode, or if the system error message appears.
Finally, users will receive a system notification when their streaming session is about to expire due to more than 10 minutes, and the user’s feedback screen has been added at the end of the session to classify the quality of the experience.
The new PS Portal update should end today, but Tech Radar Gaming found that 92.26MB is currently available to download BST tonight at 12pm.
Sony added that since the cloud streaming (beta) is still an experimental offer, “the features available during the beta parade may change over time and may not reflect the final experience”.
