The Nintendo Switch 2 has had some display upgrades – here’s what they are and how to know if your TV supports them

If you have purchased Nintendo Switch 2, you have no doubt that it will know that it has received some important feature upgrade compared to your predecessor.

These new features include 4K resolution and HDR10 compatibility. Nintendo Switch 2 also has 120 herts support, though it is limited to 1080p (full HD) resolution with console in document mode, and variable refresh rate (VRR), which is only available in handheld format.
