- Lexar has unveiled the world’s first 1tb MicroSD Express card
- It’s available right now and it looks like it will be perfect for Nintendo Switch 2
- 512GB and 256GB options are also available
Storage giant Lexar has unveiled the world’s first 1TB MicroSD Express card and it seems that Nintendo Switch 2 may have the necessary accessories.
Only when you lose the memo, Nintendo has confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 will be compatible with the microSD Express card format instead of regular microSD cards.
This means that, although not all the best SD card switch will work with Nintendo Switch 2, the incoming console will offer dramatically faster expansion storage. This will help significantly improve the platform and improve the larger loading hours.
Since this is a new format, which launched a few months ago, there are not so many options in the market yet. Nevertheless, this newly released Lexer model pushes the envelope forward when it comes to storage capacity and handheld gaming performance.
Designed with the Nintendo Switch 2, the Lexer Play Pro Micro SD Express Card is capable of writing high -speed reading speed up to 900MB/s and up to 600MB/s.
Like other MicroSD Express cards, it is also compatible with the back side of the UHS-I and USH-II devices (like the original Nintendo Switch), though will work significantly at low speed.
It is available in three abilities, 256 GB, 512GB, and shows 1 TB. Their costs respectively. 49.99,. 99.99, and .9 is 199.99.
The 1TB model is definitely my flag and while it seems quite $ 200 to spend on any storage device, it is a reasonable step at the cost limit of 80-100 of the current 512GB models of lexar and other large manufacturers.
You should also keep in mind that 1 TB is a very storage and if there is anything about the current information about the game file size, you should see in most parts of the Nintendo Switch 2 life. We know from the early Ashes listing that likes First Party games Mario Cart World Just come in with less than 25 GB. Even a mass game Cyberpank 2077: Ultimat Edition 64 GB can fit the game cartridge.
All three models are included under a limited lifetime warranty of Lexar, which means that if quality problems arise during use, you cover. Even in the regions where a lifetime warranty does not apply, you still cover for the entire 10 years, which is excellent.
The best part? It is now available through Amazon, so you can select one with your Nintendo Switch 2 pre -order and meet all your storage needs for years to come to the first day.
