The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box 8K is the best TV accessory I’ve ever owned

Philip’s Hua Play Gazemos’ range has been illuminating the room in front of me for years. I bought the company’s first HDMI Sync box back in 2020, and now I am so fortunate that for the past six months owns its 8K successor. And let me tell you, it’s a pleasant light show being treated.

Although I still own the 4K predecessor of this AV gadget, Philips Hue Play plays the HDMI sync box, but the big problem with the original model is that it is limited to HDMI 2.0. This means that you are limited to a maximum signal output of 4K 60Hz. Now, although this is not clearly a big deal if you just watch the best Netflix movies on your TV, if you want to play some of the best PS5 games on PS5 Pro, it’s a lot of problem – most of which now support 4K 120FPS methods.
