Earlier today, CD Project Red presented a Vachar 4 Tech Demo in Epic’s State of Unrealistic Event, showing the first look at how the CRI Sentrick sequel can be seen in motion. And for a moment to remove my professionals, I will admit that the demo got me. Against my better decision, I was hired.
I almost forgot the feeling. For a few minutes, the initial glimpse of Vacher 4 felt as if the E3 conference revealed my youth.
It was not a graphics tech that made me excited. I would not deny that I was influenced by the progress of CDPR artificial horses in the meat of the CDPR-the realistic video of the horse is about the only form of realism in which I have invested. Otherwise, I think the drive for graphical realism is a wasted pursuit, which helps the growing budget when publishing does not make unlimited profit.
At the technical level, Vacher 4 looks beautiful, as the Open World Games of the Big Budget must. The starfield’s graphics was better than the tech scary. The shadow of Hassan’s profession is more multiplied than Walla. But what is the value of free loyalty from the direction of art? If the role of the open world is not getting investment like its graphics tech, how interesting can it be?
Considering how few of them were forced to play in the last decade, the answer – for me – looks like “not too much”.
That is why, as the CDPR sent Siri via Covirin Woodland, the first thing that sent me in Seyu mode was not the pace of the individual pine needles or assets flow. It was a dirty small sign post.
Look at this. What a charming small piece of culture. Where the CDPR was in its rights that a wooden pole was pointed to the nearest traces to slap it, so the covir had the opportunity to start using shapes, colors and materials to start the formal structure.
And as Siri is riding in the Waldest port city? Person It’s a Space.
The video is often considered as the general pistachio of abusive theories of medieval society. Wildast is colorful, and even the most important thing is that it feels Regional: Market pavilion wooden beams are painted with amazing red accents with rusty red accents. The same colors are alternatives on the boards of close houses. They are echoing in the geometric designs of kerosene on sale at trader stalls.
Headware and coach clearly feel Sloves – though what is worn by human forces on roads and a handful of armored sowing in the market. There are visible role in visible disability. There are significant differences in the class and the station.
It seems that the CDPR invested in the Waldest feeling like a place with its own context and character.
And yes, it looks good. The textures are beautiful. Light gives rise to a combination of warmth and cold days of cold. When CDPR packs Town Square with NPC circus, it is impressive that the Tech Demo -operating PS5 does not end this effort. I am watching sincere meters and they are all reading. Technology is taking place.
Ten years from now, I will not remember how crowded the square is a crowd. But I probably remember that the villagers are wearing a variety of clothing. I will remember the poor bastard in Sak Cloth Hood, which is time to look only at the actors when he carts the ali Kig, or I have tried to decide whether a long cut of a dwarf spectator was unique in the crowd. I probably remember how the CDPR invested in the Waldest feeling like a place with its context and character.
As comparisons, I checked again Starfield’s first gameplay From 2022 to find out how much I have been stuck to, to find out that the work of another watermarks in the open world of the CDPR industry will be useful. From the first glance of the Starfield, I just remembered that the barren alien had a little gun game on the planet. Reviewing the video, I was surprised to know that I had forgotten that Bethesda had shown the game of the capital New Atlantis. And the city. And whatever the planet was named with the drugs they make from space fish.
Through this revenue, the reasons became clear. All the places that everyone shared, shared the washed, low -saturated color palette. They were intercourse with industrial hallway shots – if you squat, they would fit at home in the fallout vault. The NPC, dressed, interacted with it, and prepared for pilot clothes, items and utensils, all moving toward an unnecessary “space equipment” aesthetic. (They called it “NASA Punk” but the “punk” part is quite debatable.)
As someone who destroyed my first year in college with a lot of hundreds of hours of scirium, it would have been unimaginable for me that I forgot to think about Bethesda’s game. But the Starfield felt like a symbol of an industry, even with all its production budget, forgetting how to make the open world with its identity.
It was a pleasure to see that he remembered.
