- Silvestone’s FLP01 case brings old school attention, which is completed with fake floppy drives and retro lights
- Activo Business Limited comes with RTX 5060 TI and offers real creative power
- Knoatova cooling retro shell keeps quiet while modern internal lifting all heavy lifting
The ARC has unveiled a curious combination of old memories and modern performance with its desktop system, “Archie Business Limited”, which is now available through the PC Shop Arc.
The Japanese device is placed in the Silvestone’s FLP -01 case, designed after the Classic 1980’s PC 9801, and has specific styling features, including fake 5.25 inch Bay Core and Mok indicator lights.
Vintage aesthetic dial -ups can give rise to the behest memories of the indicator, but its internal suggests anything more worthy of it, even if it is worth using video editing or workstations PC, if it is fully decided on the species.
Old memories met modern power
Base models come in two CPU version: Intel’s Core Ultra 7 265 and AMD’s Ryzen 7 9700x. Both models are paired with 32GB of RAM and 2TB NVME SSD, and is cooled using Naktwa air cooler, the name is respected for silence and performance rather than filler.
The graphics are handled by the new Jefforus RTX 5060 TI, which holds 16 GBVRAMs in the middle of the middle -range performance bracket.
Although this hardware can not win more than gamers, it should be more than enough for creative professionals and can make the system a viable business for those who need GPU acceleration in Adobe Apps or 3D workloads.
Physically, the PC 440 x 362 x measures 170 mm, it is a paint that is not particularly compact according to the modern standard.
It comes with Windows 11 home pre -installed and includes 80 plus gold 850W power supply.
However, with a cost of 299,800 yen (about $ 2,081) and even a standard optical drive (unless it is included through a limited time campaign), some can ask whether the retro shell justifies the cost.
PC Shop Arc Now is accepting orders with full BTO (Blood to Order) options, which can allow further customization.
It seems that the company appears to be banking on the combination of old memories and performance to attract buyers, but the Archie Business Limited can appeal more heartfelt heart.
