Thrust Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition: A Minute Review
The Thrast Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition is designed for mid -level racing SIM fans, promising smooth and precise experience.
The Litrate Steering Wheel has a thick, square off design, which I personally prefer. It feels premium and smooth, easily slipping into hands. Pedals also feel excellent, responsible and easy to tap.
All other buttons are of the same high quality and are in good position to have easy access to the best racing wheels. The dial switch is also a good touch, though it can only be turned to its two available directions instead of living on them, which can limit its use for some people.
Pedal is metal and their brightness is high, which makes it as if they are made of plastic. Although they feel great under the toe, the pedal base is stable on the hard floors.
It is easy enough to connect the wheel base to a desk, if a little strange servo and its clamp design weight. However, it lasts firmly after being attached. Once you have the strength on the TX, take care of keeping your hands out of the wheels, because autoclaughter is quite strong.
From TX you need to download the latest firmware updates and download various settings to adapt to different settings. This is not the most beautiful tool in the world, but most parts are stable for FRA and for example, with the Individual individual settings of spring and raid setting offers normal power opinion settings with a considerable capacity to develop the experience you want.
In the process, TX is pleasant smooth and accurate, which provides a strong sense of contact between you and the car. Pedal is also happy to use, many effects, especially the brake pedal is easy to suppress. For some people, the throttle may be a bit loose, but I found out that this is still very informative for controlled inputs.
However, I had some grip with TX. Although the pedal offers sufficient adjustments, the throttle and the brakes were a little closer to me – though this is a problem in which the pedal sets have many. Nos, while playing American Truck SimulatorIt seemed that the calibration was deteriorating, with the twist of the wheel, the game was not compatible with these people. Whether it’s a mistake in the wheel or a game, it is worth mentioning all the same.
However, the price of the price, TX is certainly a capable wheels, which offer a great sense of great feeling and the standard of decent construction. Depending on your area, it is cheaper than the thrust master T300rs, and I think it performs much better than that wheel.
On the contrary, the thrust master is cheaper than T248 TX, and in our choice as the best racing wheels, its use is ease and thanks to the opinion of powerful power. And if you are especially looking for the best Xbox racing wheels, it is difficult to beat Lajtic G923. However, TX is a great wheel for people who start their racing SIM travel.
Thrust Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition Review: Price and Availability
- 9 369.99 / £ 309.99 (about AU 588)
- Is now available with different accessories
- Some rivals are cheap
The Thrast Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition is priced at 9 369.99 / £ 309.99 (about A 588) and is now available. It can be made with various wheels and pedal sets as well as handbreaks and shifters.
This is slightly more expensive than T300rs in the United States, though in the UK is a bit cheaper than that wheel. Regardless of, TX I think is better performance, thanks to smooth steering, better pedals, and more than the pedal. The button is even better, and the T300rs lacks the dial switch.
However, the thrust master is cheaper than T248 TX, but it is our overall best racing wheel, ease of use, excellent pedal, and usually thanks to its relatively low price thanks to excellent performance. Lajtic G923 is also one of the best surroundings, though it is more expensive in the UK than TX but cheap in the United States.

Thrust Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition Overview: Design and Features
- Well -feeling wheels
- Stable pedal base
- Unusual but stable software
The Thrast Master TX follows a common design. The steering wheel is relatively thick thick and flattering compared to cylindrical designs, which I prefer. It has ended in leather material which feels very smooth and makes smooth slides whenever a wheel self -self center.
The T3PA pedal set features metal -made pedal heads with high brightness, though they feel like plastic under the foot and are quite light. This base is pleasant, even on the hard floors, which I didn’t find with T300rs. There is an optional conical stop for the brake but has been installed as default.
You can adjust all pedals, adjust the height and inclination, and the process involves opening with the paddle adding with the Allen, which is easier to use for a while.
Installing the wheel base is also straightforward, if not, the most smooth experience. The screw and thread is not the fastest to fix the clamp, and the clamps rotate out of the place when chasing itself, which is a little disappointing. Also, the handle comes in the way to twist the screw repeatedly, and further enhances the strange condition.
And what’s the matter, distribution of heavy weight from the front of the wheel base means that it will not be on the table without falling, so I had to bow down to my chest when I attached the clamp with my hand with both hands. Finally, though, these are minor complaints, and it doesn’t take long to set up.
Once installed and running strength, you should take care of keeping your hands well clean with the wheels, because TX – and other thrust master wheels – suicide is quite violent.
If you have owned a thrust master wheel before, you should find the software setup quickly and easy. If you do not have, you will have to download the driver and configuration tool through the thrust master’s website, which for the first time made some two attempts to work properly, which will require my computer to restart. It is also a bit strange to open the configuration tool, as it is connected to the Windows controller control panel, and it uses a history -visible UI, but it works at least well.
With the options to replace the steering angle, you will get a maximum of 900 degrees, and for feedback options for continuous and permanent powers, as well as for spring and damper parameters you will also get normal racing wheel adjustments.
Thrust Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition Review: Performance
- Smooth and correct steering
- Tiger brake pedal
- Once experienced the calibration problem
TX’s overall performance is difficult to make mistakes. For example, the steering master feels more smooth and more connected than T300rs – especially at the beginning of the twist, the lack of wheel growth. It meant that doing slow and small movements was a more pleasant experience, and was particularly worth noting while playing American Truck SimulatorWhich largely demands this style of driving. However, steering is still responsible for high -speed turns and reforms, as I found while racing Assetto Corsa.
Tracking is also accurate and precise. However, when the American truck played the simulator, I tested an example of decycarnation, the game left behind my inputs. It is difficult to say whether it is a game or wheel problem, but is able to identify it. Thankfully, the rest of the time was flawless.
Pedals are sharp and provide enough feedback – another area of improvement compared to T300rs. The same is the case with the buttons, which are superstitious and satisfying to use, many people are standing towards the edge of the center, making them easier to reach with the thumb. Yet how they feel, though, they are still not a match for the PC controllers for these people.
The pedal answer, though, is more impressive. The throat can be very mild for something, but I quickly adapted and I found out that he had still offered enough control. The brake pedal is a real special, as it is extremely smooth and offers the ideal amount of progressive resistance, which in turn gives you plenty of feedback to tell how difficult you brake.
However, one of my grips with the pedal is that the brakes and throttle are very close to my choice, even when I adjust their space to their remote locations. However, I would admit that this is a problem I usually experience with pedal sets, so others may have no problem in this regard.
As the other thrust master wheels, the force feeds can be extremely strong, and I found this border line unusable on the maximum order. Thankfully, you make a lot of adjustments to it, so it is easy to get the right balance between the immersion and the immersion. Other force feedback parameters, such as spring and damper, also offer significant changes, which holds more degree to steering weight and recovery.

How did I experience the Thrast Master TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition
- Tested for some days
- Played different games of driving
- Decades of experience
I used the Thrast Master TX racing wheel leather edition for a few days, during which I tried to make maximum adjustment in pedals and forced feedback settings to experience the full range of abilities.
I play Assetto Corsa In order to examine its fitness for serious SIM racers. I also played American Truck Simulator To see how slowly the wheels handle and handle small pedals and steering inputs.
I’ve been gaming for decades, arcade and SIM racers are among my favorite species. I have used various racing wheels in the past, and have previously reviewed the Thrast, Thrast Master T300rs for TX.
