I have the unfortunate news for everyone who made a lot of time reading about Greek myths when you were teenage: We can’t play Titan Quest 2 as soon as we expect. A Steam News Post Today, developer Graemelore Games announced that the initial access to the ancient Greek diabetic launch is being pushed back in the summer.
Considering that it was actually announced as a release of 2024/2025, we should not be surprised, because, you know. It was a season. The reason is that it was “closely monitoring the market and realized that our target release window was very noisy about ARPG,” said Graemelore Games.
If anything, this is a small thing. In the last six months, the Path of Exile 2 targeted its initial access launch, which launched a roller coaster of difficult conversations and destructive patch roll -out. Meanwhile, diabetic 4, with a more expensive cosmetic bundle, is causing apps. And when they are stirring in two heavy hitters, the last period has emerged as a diBil -like black horse for unwanted looting goals.
So, yes. Currently things are slightly high in ARPG. Perhaps it is better for Titan Quest 2 to wait for the volume to die. But despite the delay, Graemelore said he had obtained “incredibly encouraging” data from his closed demo playst in March, which introduced the game, master selection (subcushes, mainly), and a boss fight that looks like a giant, terrifying graphon.
In a refreshing case of game development transparency, the studio shared a few numbers with his playst survey, and the initial testers’ responses seem to be optimistic. 92 % of the surveyor players reported a “very positive experience”, including 66 % of the players who described themselves as experts at the recent Titan Quest Player or TQ1. If the Deaders are happy, a good gesture.
The results were similar to the game environment, questions and combat designs, with the report of the players – on an average difficult rating 3.6, Graemelore said.
“This is a good place – challenging but not unfair,” said Graemelore. “We want to balance between engaging fighting and enjoying the Enough enough to enjoy after a long day.” Given my own appreciation for the skeletal screens, it is assured to hear.
The studio recognized the areas that the players identified need some improvement, however, that is, some people felt the fight a bit less tempo. Graemelore said its purpose is to “feel strategies and meaningful, but it should never feel slow,” and it is “looking for improvement.” Work has also been done to remove the work struggle, which some players have targeted during the battles.
We do not know when to start the initial access to Titan Quest 2 this summer, but the developers said they “hope to announce a fixed date very soon.”
