Ubisoft says you “cannot complain” it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren’t “deceived” by the lack of an offline version “to access a decade-old, discontinued video game”

Ubesoft’s lawyers have responded to class action legislatures on staff closure, and argued that it is always clear that you are not the owner of the game and demand that the case be completely dismissed.

The Class Action was filed in November 2024, and Ubisft’s response came in February 2025, though it is only in public attention. Multi.
