Last week’s Warmer skull event was an excellent revelation Boltgen 2, which was the result of a combination of Warmer 40K and Retro Dome Games. This first game gained itself in the hearts of many people, which is a tribute to the two worlds. But now a sequel is to cook, and everyone’s eyes are on the future.
So to help peel just a little curtains on Boltgen 2, I talked to principal designer matt bone. We highlighted what to be expected from Boltegan 2 than the original, this is like making a game in the 40K IP, and whether the fans’ favorite will ever find a house on the tablet.

Vg247: Boltagen received equally from Warmer’s fans and retro Dom lovers – can you talk about how you feel about this reception in the original game?
Bone: We were really excited about the game during development, but it is always impossible to predict what these players will think until they are in their hands. So, it was a great relief when it received so much positively and went beyond our highest hopes.
Since the studio himself and everyone in it are big -witted fans, we were excited to share our hobby for the players. Warhamers 40,000: Boltgan is basically the game we wanted to play as fans. We were happy to be able to make it right now.
The fact is that this has become the biggest game of our studio, only our team’s enthusiasm and the Warramer is proof of our love for the 40,000 universe. In the center of Boltgen, we both wanted to please 40,000 and retro shooter fans, and it seems that this is a success on both fronts. All the love of our community and the 40,000 community was beyond our expectations.
Now we are planning to do all this again!
We are passionate about continuing to work with the Games Workshop to make the audience more games, especially when we are creative spin office such as Waramar 40,000: Boltagen – Words of revenge! It was a lot of fun to make it and we are giving it free so it is definitely able to try.
Vg247: What can we expect in terms of changes in the sequence in Boltagan 2? Where has Melm Kido find himself now?
Bone: Malm Kido will not only be limited to Gria in Boltgen 2, his mission branching campaign means that he will be cleansed in new worlds. We can’t show everyone right now, but we can distribute that all new enemies will never be seen before. We are adding some places and enemies for which fans are demanding, and the result was a great place to include it.
We will have much more to share in the future and can’t wait to show them!

Vg247: Tell me something else about the improvement I expect from the original game! What is the case of new weapons, gameplay mechanics, etc.?
Bone: It is a bit of a sharp to share too much, but we definitely want to provide more different types in terms of gameplay and players’ locations. We are doubled on the fans’ choice about Boltgen. “Happily Grammark” is one of the pillars of our design, which I think the Boltagen Games have been well presented: They are a celebration of cheeks in the love of 40,000, who celebrates blood, gorge and glum pixel glory! .
Vg247: Is Hord mode returning from the first game?
Bone: It’s too early to say right now. We add a hard mode as a DLC for Boltgen and it seems that it falls down well, so we are looking for more unique ways, whether after the base game or launch. We rely heavily on the effects of players players like this – if this is something for which people are claiming, we will do our best to include it.

Vg247: The original Boltgen Warmer was associated with the events of 40,000: Space Marine, heading to Gary with Cadu years after the game events. Now that space marines 2 have come out, can we expect a similar relationship between Boltgen 2 and Space Marine 2? Or, have the team been given more freedom to make a completely separate game from other 40K games?
Bone: It was great to pay tribute to the second Warrometer 40,000 video games, which is a big fan of team two. To be unaware of someone, the first boltagan is directly picked up after the events of Space Marine 1, as the ultramarine malum goes on a mission to find the lost shard of the main sample of Caddo Space Marine 1. Even we put a entertainment Easter egg for fans in the malpracting of Malm to refer to Captain Tights!
As far as Boltgen 2 is coming, you will just need to play to find out which other entertainment Easter eggs are hiding for fans.
Vg247. The sports workshop likes to release space marine roles for the tabletup game, and they are ultramarine, Cado certainly has a good shot. Has there been any official conversation about bringing a Tabletop to Cedo? Or should the fans keep it on it with cutting?
Bone: We will surely love it if one day Malm Cado had a way to get into the official tabletop game, everyone in the studio would love to put it in his army – I think we have to keep the studio in a wider order!
We like to see all the amazing cutbases of Melm Kido that fans regularly share with us and we have seen excellent examples in social and reddates. When the players tag the pictures we made, we distribute them to the giant team and everyone becomes extremely hype.

Vg247. And the Digital has certainly done more than Just Boltgen. What do you like to work with a Games Workshop for Licensed Games like Boltgen 2 compared to a fully independent project?
Bone: To me, I like to play in a universe that is behind it for decades of shopkeepers. It is a small thing to say to the 40,000 universe to the universe – every time I think I have a decent handle on it, I will discover a whole new part that I didn’t know about, which usually lose me from the rabbit hole for a few hours. When it comes to making a game, it means we often start a few steps: Want an interesting new enemy? Here is a few hundred to choose, as well as brilliant models and pages as well. Want a new location? Here is a galaxy of worlds and stories to tap.
In general, it is very important that the game remains loyal to IP, even in our retro stabledoting point of view. We want to present it in a way that knows and loves the fans of the universe. It is also true for the revenge project of our words. We had this crazy idea of making a Boltgen typing game, and sports workshops – instead of questioning our dishonesty – were completely on the plane and helped us extensively in achieving it. They probably still question our dishonesty, but it seems appropriate for the 40,000 universe.
