Early reception for Rodhraft, the new driving SIM of Madroner and Sno-runner’s developer, was like a self-washed roads-a slightly rocky. On the first day, the “mixed” studies on steam have improved as much as the players take on it, and now it is playing 71 % of the “most positive” score – but not everyone loves it.
A common complaint is that this is not as severe experience as the snooping runner, which included fuel management and cars damage systems, which made it a truck -based game. Others complain that some controls of the road craft are undeniable and are one step down from previous games.
Saber Interactive has a message for unhappy players. “We hear you.”
“Since the launch, we have been reading all your messages closely: tips, appreciation, worms and similar concerns,” developer Said on steamIncluding, “is working on reforms to improve the most important opinions and overall experience.
Some of these opinions have already been paid attention. “We also listen to your ideas about crane control during the demo and, based on this opinion, there are now alternative control options available, including a control scheme that is very close to the Snow Runner.”
Hot fixes are working to solve some reported issues with foggy or large structure, a problem apparently has been brought by some NVIDIA drivers. “Going back to the driver version 576.28 and restarting your system should fix the issue,” says Saber.
The developer also outlined some of his plans for the future. While noting that Rodhraft is a “new experience, which is different from the snooker runner and campaigns,” a new “hard -mode” players are planning for players who are looking for more difficult experience. “This will be a new approach to the game, for example, with fuel management.”
There will also be more trucks to drive players: “Short future new rescue vehicles will be added free!” Saber says, including mule T1 utility trucks and nota algro utility transport. “These vehicles are currently special to AI’s convoys, but they will be yours to drive soon!”
No date has been announced for this when we can expect these additions to the Rodkraft: “We will share more details about the content we will soon share, once the first patch has been deployed to meet your most important feedback.”
