Next week, Apple hosts its worldwide developer conference (WWDC) 2025, which combines developers and media to discuss what Apple’s everything is new to the world. Apple makes a lot of things, and even more importantly, Apple makes the software that runs it all. Apple’s developer conference is more about software than anything, and hardware news will only help expand Apple’s software development.
If I was going to bat, my safe condition here is that we will see which new products in WWDC 2025: Nothing! Apple almost never starts hardware in WWDC. The only time we get something new in the WWDC when it works to make the developer’s news more interesting.
Of course, this year’s software news can be very interesting, possibly with a large new design in every Apple OS card, a new name for naming this year’s update: ie. In iOS 26 in 2026. Do we need new hardware to go with the latest interface? No, but it can create more enthusiasm.

No hardware, no new iPhone, even iPhone 17 air
If you were hoping a secret peak in the iPhone 17 Air, I am very skeptical that Apple will leave a signal about its upcoming thin phone. Even despite the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge available, I don’t think Apple will ruin the surprise coming in September, when it has designed a great iPhone 17 family. Demonstration of iPhone 17 will be far away today.
I will not expect any new member model. Apple recently launched a new iPad base model and new iPad Air Tablets, which contains fast processors. There is no reason to launch something new in the WBC 2025. Even the iPad Money got the recent refresh, so it is suspected that we will see something new.
Occasionally Apple announces a new chip set in the WWDC like the Apple M4 platform. This would be a good reason to get the new MacBook Pro, or possibly the latest iPad Pro model. We have not received indications about it, so we are not expecting any new MacBook or iPad with Apple M5.
One of the latest Apple Home Pods is a lasting rumor, possibly with a built -in display. This will be meaningful for WWDC 2025 as a new display means new possibilities for developers to load apps. If a hardware has been announced next week, it will be my first prerequisite.
No sorry about Apple AI, and no baking
If you think Apple Intelligence is not going well, you are okay, but I will not expect Apple to acknowledge more and more, and it will certainly not apologize for any memory so far. In fact, I expect Apple to see Apple moving forward with AI features at all levels of OS.
We are going to get Apple Intelligence on the Apple Watch, as well as get more AI on the iPhone, iPad, and MacBox. The real question is whether Apple will continue to promise the features that never came into action – Siri’s ability to read your email and your personal information and provide you with advice – or if there will be a new direction, maybe with a new partnership to eliminate the difference in Apple’s capabilities.
I think the latter is most likely, as the developers right now are seeking ways to connect existing apps and features with AI. Apple makes sense to contribute more closely with companies outside Openi, while he continues to try to make his AI infrastructure.

I expect Apple will talk about the progress in Apple’s health at Apple’s health, but I do not expect any dramatic new abilities to be announced. We will not see improvement in glucose monitoring, for example, or new hardware that can measure the metabolic rate in non -invading methods.
Apple still has a lot to do on its watch hardware. Google’s wear OS watches and its partners include zero plus detection, adding more features such as AI features, and the battery life is climbing to the OS. Apple has been a bit stagnant with the progress of its watch.
I too will not expect to wear a new face. Apple Vision Pro has no updates, and no new product of Apple Vision. It is possible that we may also have better control for the vision pro, and also for real Joyce Stick Controllers, but there is no new platform like XR smart glass.
