Fans of the last destination of the film know that there is not a lot of continuity except every new sequel that returns to the basic concept: someone offers a disaster and uses it to save the lives of those who die in this catastrophe, but death can, however, find criminal ways to claim them. Compared to even more horror franchises, there are no legacy roles to check the timeline filled with lore, or to prepare a wider,. And the reason is that the most dark jokes of the final destination of the film are that none of the main characters never manage to end death for long.
But there is a line line for the whole series: Candyman Star Tony Todd as a martial William Blood Worth, wise old souls who offer death rules for the ruined main characters, so that they can fight for a while. William Blood Worth appears in three of the five last floor films, with A couple of voice over Easter eggs In the fourth movie from Todd. And he has returned to the latest installation, Last Destination: Blood LinesOne last movie Tony Todd shot before his 2024 death-this time with a heartfelt message co-directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein say their fans had a direct purpose.
Lipovsky says bringing Todd back into the franchise was a intelligence for directors, especially since he wanted to improve the role as much as he wanted to return.
“He really wanted to be involved in this movie,” Lipofsky told Polygon through zoom. “When we were preparing the movie, they were sick, and we were worried that they would not be quite fine (when we were shooting), but they really wanted to be there, and we wanted to create a story around it, so that it could be given something else to fill it as a role.”
William Blood Worth has always been a “a little mysterious trump personality” in the final destination franchise, but that he has never really found a character. “It would probably be his last destination movie, we will get it out, give him some answers why he has played such an interesting role in other films, and then gives him the ability to eliminate it, and say goodbye to the audience and say goodbye to the character.”
Is not a large part of the todd Bloodlines – He has an important scene, where he once again meets a new group of main characters who are staring at death on the face. But Stein says the directors told Todd to help the scene to create the scene as an opportunity to explain the heritage of Blood Worth, and the inheritance of the final destination.
“We asked if he would be relieved to put the script aside and really talk directly to the fans, about what life is about,” Stein told Poligon. “We asked him, ‘Hey, Tony, what is all this death of the final destination? If you had to say in your own words, what do you want to leave the fans with?’ And what is in the movie is really talking to the fans with what he thinks about life and death, which is why he is so emotionally powerful.
“We worked incredibly with it,” says Lipofsky. “(We wanted to be worth it) to talk to the audience from the heart, and give a really meaningful moment.”

Last Destination: Blood Lines About the beginning of William Blood Worth and the fate of it-I expected a scene after a credit where death eventually comes with him. But Bloodlines There is no after the credit scene, or there is no end to William Blood Worth. Stein and Lipofsky admitted that they consider doing so.
“It was debated,” says Lipofsky. “But in the end, we decided that the way he wanders through the door, the whistle, in sunset, feels the right way to say goodbye to Tony.”
“Finally, we wanted to make sure that he could not become a victim, but at the same time, he was experiencing his death, but he had strength,” says Stan. “And he finally attracted the scale – instead of creating a death set for his character, (we wanted) give him a platform to say goodbye to his terms.
“The last lines they say are just that,” says Stan. “The end of the script, I am retiring, and I’m going to enjoy the time I have left”, and that’s it. But he brings the next level with what he says at the door, which is basically, ‘all your life is precious. When you have gone, you will never know.
