After its breakout success, Director of Claire Ozar: Campaign 33 shared his philosophy to make the game – but he acknowledged that he got “really, really, really lucky”, so you should be careful about following his advice in the letter.
Talking to the Sea Demand Software, Gallom Broch was asked what he could advise for aspiring developers. In response, he said that anyone should take his words “with the salt grain because I think myself really, really, really fortunate how all the stars are upright.”
The main piece of his advice is that “you don’t have to make a game that you think people like, you have to make a game you like.” This design is a philosophy that is often repeated, but one that Broch calls Broch that he often sees new gods. “In terms of creative decisions,” he says, “If I don’t like it in the game, it doesn’t go into the game.”
It can make a very personal game, but he protested that “it is not narcissist (…) just if he talks deeply to a player, like really, really deep, it will not fail in my opinion.” For brochure, he says he is so fortunate that his personal tastes were “mainstream”, and “many people can be praised.”
He acknowledged, “I was expecting the game to be niche,” but I think if the game feels honesty and truth and happiness, and I think it’s really, really important. And even in recent sports, Indi Games have been blasted, it was always very authentic, and true sports.
Thinking about sports like vampires, or sports, you can see that there is a point for brochure – some of the biggest breakouts in the last five or so many years have been almost completely unique, but sold at the point that they were almost immediately pursuing copycies.
Broch’s fortune is twice, he said. First of all, he was so fortunate that his taste was available with a large audience to make his game a success. Second, he was so fortunate that he could gather the “amazing team”, which he says God says, “I think I don’t believe it to this day.”
Somewhere else, Broch says the team is like a “RPG party”, which is full of people full of life, who were together to make games – like the central author, he hired as a voice actor before he created one of the throat contenders this year.
