The Xbox Game Hubs is testing a new feature that appears when trying to start a game, and immediately brings an extra screen of information along with the “Play” button, along with the “play” buttons, as well as the play time.
As reported VGC (Who has access to the update), this feature is currently being tested by selected members of the Xbox Internal Preview Program. The game hub appears when choosing a game tile from a player’s library or his recently played sports list, and instead of launching the usual game, offers an additional screen that shows stats such as the selected title gamers.
The Game Hub also shows the DLC Aid Ons, captures in the game, game events, and other information according to the selected game. The game hub information screen is default to select the “play” button, so the double press of the A button will launch the game as usual.
The official detail of the Xbox about this feature has been stated that this feature is to highlight relevant information about the game, including friends who are playing, statistics, and Ed on.
“And, if you are in a hurry to start the game, the default focus in the game hubs to enable smooth ‘double tap’ to experience with game tile will always be on the play button.”
